At Bouchard Finlayson we work closely with the 18 sister-hotels within The Red Carnation Hotel Collection. This includes the flagship hotels in Great Britain and Ireland, as well as boutique properties in Switzerland, Florida and Guernsey. In Africa these include Xigera Safari Lodge in Botswana, the five-star Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa in Cape Town, The Oyster Box Hotel in KwaZulu-Natal, and Bushmans Kloof Wilderness Reserve and Retreat in the Cederberg Mountains.
Situated in the famous Burgundy town of Nuits-Saint-Georges, this acclaimed cooperage was established in 1991 and is one of our hand-selected barrel suppliers.
Winemaker Chris Albrecht hails the consistency and quality of oak barrels from this artisan cooperage rooted in the winemaking traditions of Burgundy.

Bouchard Finlayson plays an active role in supporting both cultural initiatives and the tourism industry in the wider Overberg community. We are an official stop for the innovative Hermanus Wine Hoppers, encouraging visitors to safely tour the wineries of the Hemel-en-Aarde valley. The estate is also proud to be poured at many of the region’s top restaurants, including Harbour Rock, Burgundy Restaurant, Fick’s Pool and Char’d Grill & Wine Bar. The estate also supports local arts and culture by hosting monthly recitals for the Hermanus Music Society in the Bouchard Finlayson cellar.
